Salmonella outbreaks prompt chicken recalls: Salmonella outbreak in Melbourne

Massive salmonella outbreaks prompted chicken recalls in the U.S. And in Australia, a Melbourne salmonella outbreak sickened 34 guests at Langham, a top hotel. News 7 reported July 20 that over half of the guests who attended the hotel's high tea on July 11 and 12, got sick. 66 diners were tracked down and 34 been treated for salmonellosis. There is no information on whether the two salmonella outbreaks are connected, nor what specifically the Langham guest ate at tea which made them sick.  Salmonella outbreaks prompt chicken recalls: Salmonella outbreak in Melbourne
